METHOD / HUMAN REVIEW
How we scope and conduct an OSINT assignment
A useful assignment starts with the decision and lawful purpose, then narrows sources and methods to what is proportionate.
Availability does not by itself make information relevant or lawful to use. Every matter is reviewed by a person before acceptance.
Stage 01
Purpose, legal basis and question
We identify who needs the information, why, and what the work should help decide.
The question is narrowed to avoid indiscriminate collection and mistaken identity.
Stage 02
Feasibility and proportionate scope
We assess identifiers, source categories, likely limitations and whether another formal route is more appropriate.
Stage 03
Source collection and analysis
We document provenance, dates, versions and context, and compare independent indications rather than repeating a single claim.
Stage 04
Findings, inference and limitations
The output separates source facts from cautious analysis and states gaps, conflicts and alternative explanations.
Accountability
The work has a named expert, a verified operator and a transparent method.
- Operator
- Pomorskie Biuro Detektywistyczne sp. z o.o., a Polish limited liability company.
- Expert
- Wojciech Wróblewski — an OSINT analyst with more than ten years of professional experience in detective work, information analysis and organising decision-support material.
- Sources
- Only lawfully available sources proportionate to the accepted purpose.
- Deliverable
- Findings, source provenance, cautious analysis, gaps and limitations in a readable format.
